What is fibroblast?
Fibroblast is a non-invasive permeant skin tightening treatment. The treatment helps eliminate excessive tissue that causes sagging skin, unwanted wrinkles, stretch marks and even diminish scarring.
How does Fibroblast treatment work?
I use an FDA approved plasma pen which creates small arcs of microcurrents that make small scab-like (carbon crust) dots on the skin. It is essentially burning a tiny hole in the top layer of your skin, physically shrinking the surface area and creating micro trauma which triggers the skin to produce collagen. As you age, your body starts producing less collagen. The skin becomes thinner, drier, and less elastic. The loss of collagen leads to wrinkle formation. Your body begins to lose collagen when you turn 30.
According to an 2019 article published in the PMFA journal, the thermal disruption, or heat damage, from plasma fibroblast therapy:
- breaks down proteins in the skin
- encourages tissue regeneration
- stimulates fibroblast activity
- causes tissue contraction (tightening)
Healthcare providers may also call this approach plasma skin resurfacing.
Does it hurt?
You are numbed for the procedure. Most clients have little to no pain.
How long does the process take?
30 minutes to numb the area and anywhere from 15-90 minutes for the treatment. Depending how large of an area you are treating.
How long to the results last?
They are permanent but they do not stop the aging process. Some things you can to do help prolong the results are to stay hydrated, use SPF, use good skincare, and eat clean.
Botox or Fibroblast?
Both! they are completely different treatments. Botox freezes the muscles, preventing movement which can cause wrinkles.
Fibroblast is shrinking the surface area of the skin, which tightens all together. Botox can help prolong the results of your fibroblast treatment
How many treatments do I need?
Depends how lose your skin is and how you heal. Can be anywhere from 1-6 treatments.

Fibroblast Before and Afters
Day 1:
Do not get the area wet for 24 hour.
No Sweating
No Sauna
No Swimming
No Shower
No Sun
No Makeup
You want to avoid rubbing, scratching, sweating, and the sun till the dots fall off. Keep them dry
Day 2 – 7 – OR till dots fall off (usually between day 5-7)
Wash with only water 2x per day.
After you wash, pat dry

If you are dry and itchy, apply Vaseline or Aquaphor by applying to a Q-Tip and gently rolling over treated area, as needed.
Apply SPF in the AM
Weeks 2-4
May have some redness and tenderness. That’s ok, use a gentle wash like Cetaphil. You can begin using your regular products one you feel fine.
You begin producing new collagen in week 2.
You will be fully healed week 12 and ready for a new session (if recommended)
